This demo allows you to play through at most 10 years of the 
'Tutorial on getting started' scenario. Saved games and most
disasters have been disabled for this demo.

Highlights of the full game :
   - New European and Asian building sets
   - Several types of landscapes
   - Builtin terrain editor to build the land of your city
   - Many disasters including UFO attacks, locust swarms and
     space junk;
   - Many scenarios to choose from
   - Building Architect tool to enable you to create your
     own buildings
   - Full compatibility with all versions of the game,
     including saved games from SimCity 2000.

  32 MB RAM required (64 MB recommended)
  Video card capable of 640x480 resolution
  XFree86 version 3.3.5 or newer at 16bpp

  270MB free hard disk space

(2) INSTALLATION

Run the self-extracting archive to unpack the demo :

	sh sc3u-demo-x86.run

(3) PLAYING THE GAME
--------------------

Run 'sc3u_demo' to start the game.

The first time you run SimCity 3000 Unlimited it will create a ~/.loki/sc3u_demo
directory. Your preferences will be stored here.

The following arguments may be given to SimCity 3000:

	-f          Enable fullscreen mode (default)
	-w          Enable windowed mode
	-v          Dump version information
	-cursor:bmp Use software mouse cursor
	-intro:off  Toggle intro movie off
	-music:off  Toggle music player off
	-sound:off  Toggle sound off

The following keys may also be used during the game :

    Alt-G       Grab / ungrab the mouse cursor while windowed;
    Alt-Enter   Switch between fullscreen and windowed modes.
    Ctrl-Z      Iconify the game window

String widgets have standard UNIX keybindings.

    Ctrl-A - Move to beginning of line
    Ctrl-E - Move to end of line
    Ctrl-B - Move backwards
    Ctrl-F - Move forwards
    Ctrl-U - Erase line
    Ctrl-D - Delete character
    Ctrl-C - Copy to X clipboard
    Ctrl-V - Paste from X clipboard

If configured, you can use the mouse wheel to move the map up and 
down, and left and right if used in conjunction with the Ctrl or Shift keys.
Dragging the middle mouse button will also move the map.
